Reactive Dogs

Reactive dogs are the ones that make us avoid certain places or situations.  They are the ones that leave us apologising to other dog owners, cyclists and the postman on a regular basis.
We might cringe as they start barking again at a person in the street for no apparent reason or worse still lunge towards them.
Reactive dogs can cause us tears and heartache, but can also be the most loving and gentle dogs in their home environment.
Training a reactive dog can be difficult in a classroom setting if they react to other dogs, people or both.  One to one training sessions allow us to work in environments that the dog can cope with to make positive steps forward and show real improvement over time without adding additional stress to you and your dog.

An initial 1 hour Consultation includes a written training plan and two weeks email support, a follow up session is an essential part of the training plan to help you progress and make sure you are on the right track. Reactive dogs can not be ‘fixed’ in one session, but follow ups can speed up the process and one follow up is included in the price £125. Contact Gemma to discuss your needs or for more information.
